Online services can ease company filing burdens; corporate secretaries now can access libraries containing the most up-to-date state forms
Article Abstract:
Online services offered by CSC Direct and CT Corp provide form libraries that facilitate corporate filings in any state, and come with third-party document-assembly packages. CSC Direct offers 10 modules, five of them basic ones that are made available for a single flat fee of $1,000. The need to re-enter data for each jurisdiction is a significant drawback. CT's CT Advantage is free, but promotes use of CT's other corporate services. It has one optional and six standard modules, and emphasizes individualized training.
