Rationing health care while writing blank checks for environmental health hazards
Article Abstract:
The issue of whether the government budget for preventive medical care is spent wisely is discussed. Statistics on medical care expenditures reported by the Health Care Financing Administration exclude expenditures for reducing environmental, occupational and product risks to health and safety. It is noted that the massive expenditures is not proportional to the marginal benefits derived from preventive medical care programs. The improvement of the public health should be given given priority in budget allocations.

Environmental science and sound science
Article Abstract:
Environmental science should be scrapped as it begins with perceived truths, dispenses with observations and testing of theory and ends by repeating perceived truths as conclusions whose validity remain questionable. Environmental science is not sound science as it proceeds from questionable dogmas and loud public alarms and ultimately results in more harm than good to the public.
