Risk management and employers' liability insurance
Article Abstract:
The Assn of British Insurers' announcement that unlimited coverage employers' liability insurance will no longer be offered has forced the government to rethink its minimum coverage requirements. Insurers will offer no more than 10 million pounds in coverage for a single company. The government may adopt new requirements based upon a more specific risk assessment on an industry-by-industry basis. Insurers, on the other hand, may drop industry risk assessment and start tailoring coverage prices to specific companies and their safety records.
