Selecting a neutral
Article Abstract:
Picking a neutral arbitrator for an arbitration proceeding can be as crucial as shopping for the most suitable judge. A list of proposed arbitrators with biographical sketches on each should be the first step. Clients may be a good source of information about experts in the field. Proposed arbitrators can be asked for references, and interviews can also be useful tools to winnow down the list. Interview questions to ask are listed.
