Beyond the threshold
Article Abstract:
Attorneys' computer literacy has increased enough so that they can use legal technology to leverage information. Local area networks (LANs) provide a basis for this practice. The use of 'groupware,' or LAN software, is growing in law firms. Examples of groupware include software enabling group drafting, work product data bases and LAN-based electronic mail. Automated document assembly can also help to leverage information.
