Windows 95 can alter law firm's operations; the new operating system offers firms some new applications, but it must be installed with care
Article Abstract:
Windows 95 offers law firms a host of benefits but demands careful planning and thorough training in connection with installing it on a large network. The full rollout time can reach 18 weeks, but the advantages make it worthwhile. These include a much-improved look and feel, including longer file names; superior connectivity and data communications; and better network and system administration tools. Software upgrades, data translation, and new hardware demands are all important factors in a rollout.
