The popular themes of investigative books are the war in Iraq ranging from the performance of journalists to military operations where the best books for 2005 is likely to include 'Night Draws Near: Iraq's People in the Shadow of America's War', Dying in the New Iraq and The Assassins' Gate: America in Iraq. Some books investigated international issues such as illegal narcotics of pharmaceuticals, dirty air and dirty water.
