Bush to seek $401.7 billion for Pentagon in fiscal 2005
Article Abstract:
The budget requested by the Bush administration for the Pentagon for fiscal year 2005 represents a 7 percent increase over the previous year and is expected to grow from $401.7 to $487.7 by fiscal year 2009. The Navy will receive $115 billion to be utilized mainly in the construction of warships and the Missile Defense Agency requested for $9.2 billion while the Army and Air Force have requested for $98.5 billion each.
