The completion of the Large Interferometer Gravity Observatory, which is expected to operate around the year 2000, is projected to improve the study of gravity waves, whose two distinct states of polarization, compounds present capabilities of astronomical equipment to resolve adequately.

Gamma ray bursts

Gamma ray bursts coming from outside the Earth's solar system have puzzled scientists since their discovery in 1967. The various observations made in connection to these rays and several theories on their origin are discussed.
