Al-Jazeera TV: When the medium becomes part of the Story
Article Abstract:
The Al-Jazeera is an Arab new medium and hence reflects Arab culture, catering 300 million people in the Arab world along with the millions of Arab in the West, it goes to alienate itself from its audience by adopting the U.S. military's name for the war, the entire duration of the war, Al-Jazeera became a part of story instead of a coverage. Al-Jazeera has shaken up the calcified media situation in the Middle East and made it impossible to turn back time to the old system of timid, shackled, state controlled media.

'Greatest Snow on Earth' doesn't harm the circus
Article Abstract:
The US Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit ruled in Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Combined Shows v. Utah Division of Travel Development that the state's use of the phrase "Greatest Snow on Earth" in travel advertising did not dilute the Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey's circum trademark slogan "Greatest Show on Earth. Although consumers' association of the two was possible, this was deemed to to harm the economic value of the Ringling Bros mark as an advertising agent.

Article Abstract:
There seems to be an increasing number of hobbyists, perhaps because of earlier retirements and an emphasis on mental, as well as physical, fitness. Hobbies are highly recommended. They can help fill a sudden emptiness that comes with retirement and they provide a nourishment for the soul.
