Perle: Intel was flawed, but war was justified
Article Abstract:
Richard Perle, an unpaid advisor to the Pentagon, stated in an interview that though the U.S. intelligence on Iraq regarding the possession of weapons of mass destruction was defective, the war against Saddam Hussein was justified as Iraq retained the capacity to reacquire them. He also expressed the view that the failure of the Iraq intelligence was due to inadequate external review.
