Article Abstract:
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune teamed up with 29 other Florida newspaper to test public access by conducting public records audit, one of the few in the nation where the right to access is written into the constitution. The results of the project indicate that Florida's citizens are not treated the way the public records law intended.

Many of the retirees and elders' peoples have become targets of persistent charity phone solicitors. Some seniors suffering from memory lapses, hearing loss or who seemed senile were called again and again by the charity solicitors and were forced into giving donations.
