The dark side of Clarke's Law
Article Abstract:
Arthur C. Clarke was considering interactions with future human or alien creatures when he conceptualized Clarke's Law. The law, however, can be seen in persons who believe current technologies are too incomprehensible. Such perceptions tend to discourage further discoveries and inventions.

The all or nothing fallacy
Article Abstract:
Simplistic thinking, which believes in extremes, pervades society and is indicated by the need to conform and be strict about rules or, on the other extreme, to rebel. The human brain, however, is capable of creative thinking and judgment that span innumerable shades of meaning.
