Evangelism is the zealous and militant promotion of a cause, religious or otherwise. Evangelists are often so sure they are absolutely right that they become intolerant of other people, beliefs or theories that disagree with them. Some will even commit violent crimes to promote their beliefs or harm those that disagree with them.

An article by Waldemar Kaempffert in the Feb 1950 issue of 'Popular Mechanics Magazine' predicted the life of a typical family in the year 2000. Some of the predictions were right such as the use of lighter metals, synthetics and the prevalence of frozen foods and microwave ovens.

Many people are easily cheated by a speaker's brilliant way of speaking or delivering speeches, unmindful of the real message of the speaker. People must change their way of judging speakers and learn to put their focus on the meaning of the message and sincerity of the speaker.
