Megan's law rules bar release to news media

The US Court of Appeals for the 3d Circuit ruled in Paul P. v. Farmer that New Jersey's Sexual Offender Registration Act of 1994, known as Megan's Law, was constitutional on compelling public interest grounds and required the release of information on sexual offenders to the media.
