The universe as seen by WMAP
Article Abstract:
It is contended that a new era of precision cosmology is being ushered in by the work being produced by the Wilkinson Microwave Anisitropy Probe satellite, a joint initiative of Princeton University and NASA's Goddard Spaceflight Center. In WMAP's first year of operation it has succeeded in pinning down the majority of the constants of the universe to within a few percent.
