Chitty to head Illumina subsidiary

Illuminations TV, an independent television company, is forming a new company to focus on developing low-cost productions for digital television channels and the Internet. The new company, to be called Illumina, is anticipated to be launched within the following few weeks. It will be headed by Andrew Chitty, a former producer of Diverse Productions. Illumina's initial task is to focus on program production for television. It will adopt professional but inexpensive techniques to create programmes on the level of budget producers have to work with.

Holbein quits Digital Film for PFE effects
Article Abstract:
Digital Film head Matthew Holbein is leaving the company effective on Jul. 10, 1998, to assume a new post at Polygram Filmed Entertainment (PFE). Holbein, who has been working for the Moving Picture Company (MPC) for 13 years, stated that his job description has not been fully established yet but his main role at PFE will be head of visual effects, focusing around in-house production. Holbein is expected is move into his new post at PFE's headquarters in St. James in United Kingdom as soon as he leaves Digital Film.
