Commercial stations seek more networked shows to battle BBC

Commercial radio stations argue that freeing up regulations to share similar quality content across the UK will give them better footing in competing with BBC. BBC has a 54% share of nationwide listening compared to commercial radio's 43% share.

BBC increases lead on commercial rivals

According latest analysis, the British Broadcasting Corporation's market share in commercial broadcasting has increased to 55.4 percent. This increased is driven by channel's popular sports and music programs.
