Article Abstract:
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is planning to transform its Resources directorate into a limited company. Independent facility companies are against the plan and fear future prospects within this sector will be threatened. The International Teleproduction Society claims the BBC has a financial advantage due to its funding by licence payers and that full privatisation would be more beneficial to the independent facilities companies.
