Article Abstract:
Over fishing at sea, over-development along the coasts and increasing pollution are leading to decline of ocean wildlife and collapse of ocean ecosystem was reported on June 4 2003, by the Pew oceans commission. This report is titled as American's living oceans: Charting a course for sea change, which is a result of three years of work by the commission.

Recovery planning for Endangered Species Act-listed Pacific salmon: using science to inform goals and strategies
Article Abstract:
Populations of Pacific salmon, listed in the Endangered Species Act of 1973, are to a variety of risk factors, including ocean and freshwater harvest, habitat degradation and hydropower operations. Recovery plans being developed for the salmon are analyzed.
