Let's put on a convention
Article Abstract:
Political conventions are covered by television news stations more out of fear of the political masters than out of a genuine urge to report them. All political parties like their conventions to be covered on a free time basis and news broadcasters are forced to follow this in fear of their federal license being cancelled otherwise. Conventions are basically ornamental in nature as they help in nominating candidates for gubernatorial elections, though little readable news is available in the conventions.
