Nowhere man
Article Abstract:
National Heritage Secretary Stephen Dorrell has kept a low profile within the television industry. His policies are unpredictable and many industry lobbyists complain of his failure to act. Many feel he is negative about the television and film industry and that he is a career politician rather than interested in the business. Dorrell is failing to fulfil his predecessor's claims that action will be taken on cross-media ownership before the year 2000. The National Heritage's stance on digital television has also not been clarified.

Using crayons to educate patients about front-tooth wear patterns
Article Abstract:
A box of crayons can be used to illustrate for children the destructive effect of teeth-grinding. Green, yellow, red, and purple crayons can be worn down to show the progression from healthy teeth through worn and ultimately damaged teeth. The crayons illustrating wear, filed at a 45 degree angle, clearly demonstrate how advanced tooth wear can be hidden when only viewed from the front. Showing the patient the rear view, where tooth destruction can be acute, illustrates the damage from grinding and the need for corrective action.
