Queen's 'huff' proves a BBC ratings winner

Article Abstract:

The opening of BBC's five-part documentary series "Monarchy: The Royal Family at Work" attracted 6.7 million viewers or a 25.8% share on November 26, 2007. The show was up against ITV1's "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me out of Here!" and "Coronation Street" which had a 31.6% and 38.1% share, respectively. The ratings of other television programs are discussed.

ITV1's bug-munching celebs still prove tasty

The 2007 season of ITV1's "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me out of Here!", hosted by Ant and Dec, has garnered an average of 7 million viewers or 29.3% share. It's contender in the 9 p.m. timeslot, charity telethon "Children in Need", has an average rating of 10 million or 39.5%. The audience share of "The Mystery of Madeleine McCann" is also discussed.
