Revitalising factual

Carlton Television's director of programs Steve Hewlett has a chance to lead Carlton to improving its reputation for factual documentaries, with the $20 million joint venture with Public Broadcasting Service. Hewlett is optimistic that he can play a major role in reviving big documentaries and restore the authenticity of the genre.

EC rules may force an end to BBC governors
