Speaking up for the alternative

Article Abstract:

The most memorable moments in the ten years of the Alternative MacTaggart Lecture are described. James Murdoch's 2000 lecture, Geraldo Rivera in 2002, and Al Gore in 2006 are considered among the best in the history of the lecture , which was launched as a more genuine and fun alternative to the MacTaggart Memorial Lecture. Vint Cerf, o ne of the founding fathers of the Internet, will deliver the lecture this year.
