Revelations of the instability and financial improprieties of Robert Maxwell's publishing empire following his death lead to the question of how the man was allowed to gain so much control of the British press. His business image was tarnished by an investment scandal with Pergamon Press in the 1960s, resulting in an investigation by the Department of Trade and Industry which found him unsuitable for business leadership.

Oxygenic photoautotrophic growth and photosystem I
Article Abstract:
A study that reported the minimum quantum requirement for photosystem II photosynthesis as four photons per O2 molecule is challenged. The addition of adenosine triphosphate required by photosynthesis increases the minimum to 6.5 photons. A reply is included.
