The digital clock ticks on

Article Abstract:

The broadcasters are happy about the US government's decision to set 2012 as the target period for digital switchover in the industry. However, there are certain major issues to be resolved before the switchover, and cost is one among them. There is a heightened need for the broadcasters and the government to plan a digital strategy that outsmarts the cost and consumer concerns.

Do we need BBC3 and 4?

The opinion regarding the BBC channel's value based on its rating has been expressed. BBC has been suggested to close down the channels if it cannot produce quality programs.
