Strategy-proof and symmetric social choice functions for public good economies
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine how axioms of social choice functions react with economies having one private good and one pure public good. It was observed that the strategy-proofness proposition is true for this condition as no agents are seen to benefit by misrepresenting his preferences. The anonymity axiom is also accurate as when the preferences of two agents are switched, it was found that their consumption bundles are also transposed. The remaining axioms that include symmetry and individual rationality were also found to be true.

A simple existence proof of demand functions without standard transitivity
Article Abstract:
Proof of the existence of demand functions without standard transitivity is forwarded. Computational studies show that convexity assumption implies a relatively weaker form of transitivity. Such a property would thus remain necessary in demand theory. The existence proof of a demand function would thus be significantly simplified when an explicit transitivity axiom is not explicitly imposed on the preference relation.
