Article Abstract:

The roles and missions of Italian Air Defence and also the current assets and future-oriented procurement plans are discussed. The Italian Army's Anti-Aircraft (AA) Artillery has undergone a significant process of evolution with regard to both its tasks as well as the required assets to fulfill them.
