The U.S. Air Force (USAF) has an unrivalled capability to exert anywhere across the world with the help of long-range bombers and shorter-ranged combat aircraft. The relevance of using Northrop Grumman A-6 Intruders and other multi-role aircrafts in the USAF is discussed.

Naval helicopters find it a difficult task to land on ship decks and it is a challenge for non-naval helicopters. The methods and tools and different systems that are used to ensure an easy landing for these helicopters are described.

Next-generation naval helicopters

The naval helicopters like Bell Boeing V-22 OSPREY are supposed to be the next-generation naval helicopters. They are speedy, utilize less airframe and also save time and fuel.
