Making airpower effective against Guerillas

Suggestions are provided on how to make airpower and space power effective against Guerillas. To make air power truly effective against guerrillas in the war the US must aggressively develop and employ airpower's counter-guerilla capabilities.

There has been a proliferation of man-portable surface-to-air missles throughout the world, with some 27 terrorist and guerrilla organizations having the weapons. Such missiles represent a threat to both military and civilian aircraft.
