Noble Eagle without end

Article Abstract:

The Nobel Eagle features a greatly expanded network of sensors, aircraft and airmen devoted to the U.S. homeland air defense mission and the Air National Guard has taken up an enormous responsibility of providing the mission's personnel. Nobel Eagle was at first just an emergency stopgap defense anchored by combat patrol vehicles (CAPs) over major cities, but now it has become a steady-state air defense affair, which is going to stay for a long time.
