Soltam Systems is attacking the market of r155mm truck-mounted self-propelled howitzers with renewed vigor, bolstered by news of an impending order from the Israel Defense Force (IDF). The company's latest artillery offering is the ATMOS (autonomous truck-mounted system) SPH family, conceived in response to the emergence of a generic requirement for a medium-weight, highly deployable field artillery system, capable of providing direct and general support to any contingency or follow-on maneuver force.

Cobham takes systematic approach as it introduced Eagle infantry assault radio

Article Abstract:

Cobham Defence Communications has introduced a fourth-generation full duplex-encrypted infantry assault radio known as Eagle. Eagle is primarily designed for use at section/squad level, allowing six full-duplex users to simultaneously use advanced voice activation, and alternatively, it allows two full-duplex voice channels with concurrent transmission and reception of data at up to 128 kb/s, retaining emergency override capability.
