Article Abstract:
Tassos Papadopoulos, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, was in London to have a talk with the British government regarding the Greek Cypriot rejection of the United Nations Annan Plan, a proposal to bring about reunification of the divided island in the April 2004 referendum. He feels that the recent attitudes of the British were not friendly and he was keen to stop further initiatives being launched by the British without even asking them.
