The International Criminal Court: how a good idea became a terrible treaty
Article Abstract:
The treaty establishing an International Criminal Court was signed in 1998 by some 120 countries, with 21 countries abstaining and six rejecting. The US was one of the countries rejecting the treaty, but there are circumstances in which US armed forces personnel could be subject to prosecution.
