Cinematic dis-contents: Addressing a Latin/Latino avant-grade through the browser apparatus
Article Abstract:
A small number of exemplary artist's Web sites that provide visitors to interact with and interpret moving-image and sound digital-art texts are navigated. As these texts merge older and newer technologies and reinvent traditional cinematic conventions and codes, they ablate the capitalist-industrial aesthetic and Euro centric Hegemony of mainstream texts.
