The receivers test are priced from $770 to $1,795. All include Dolby Pro-Logic decoders and surround-sound circuitry. The highest-rated units are the Onkyo TX-SV909PRO ($1,795) and the Sony STR-GX99ES ($1,000), but all were judged very good.

LF Engineering claims that its M-601 is the first AMAX-format antenna. It is a high-impedance, 26-inch, fully-sealed unit which significantly improved the number of stations and all stations' quality during tests.
