Article Abstract:
The discovery of the first Jurassic deposit is significant with comparatively large centimetric sized pieces of amber, in southern Thailand. The Thai Jurassic amber forest appears as a moist dense forest, close to coastal lake and the new Thai locality confirms that for the Jurassic amber early history took place within freshwater ecosystems in moist megathermal zone.
