Canadair ran a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal on Sep 19, 1995, comparing its Global Express jet to its major competitor's model Gulfstream Aerospace Corp's Gulfstream V. Gulfstream retaliated with a similar ad touting the advantages of its model. They each cost around $40 million.
