Marin City's lasting impression

The innovative Marin City,CA public housing development, constructed some thirty years ago, remains in good physical condition and its design is still an inspiration. A creation of architect Aaron Green, the project serves as a prime example of independent public housing. Although Marin City is affected by the unemployment and crime problems prevalent in other housing developments, the Housing Authority of Marin is extending assistance to its nearly 900 residents, from helping finance housing operations to offering training programs.

Article Abstract:
Residents of Oklahoma City underwent a deep trauma in the wake of the bombing of Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building there. A vocational education teacher working at Putnam City High School, Oklahoma City recalls anguish and trepidation faced by the relatives of employees working in the Federal building. Psychological strength and stress-coping skills gained by them through their traumatic experience are discussed. Various experiences faced by the survivors are also discussed.

Article Abstract:
One of the most comfortable and scenic modes of vacation travel in France is the hotel barge. France's many waterways allow the vacationer to experience the beautiful French countryside via the hotel barge. These movable hotels provide many of same accommodations that the typical hotel offers.
