Article Abstract:
Rhames felt divine intervention in his life when he was 11 years old, growing up in Harlem. He and a friend followed two girls to a poetry class at a youth center where he started doing poetry readings. He has worked nonstop since finishing Julliard in 1983. His sense of responsibility to his mother has guided him since early childhood. He is currently studying the Five Books of Moses, following up on his mother's introduction of religion into his early life.

Bon Jovi enjoyed rock stardom as a result of relentlessly pursuing his career from the time he was 16. But he eventually burnt out on the stardom and the work it required. He is happier now with his solo career and the challenge of a budding acting career.
