Polo Ralph Lauren's venture with NBC, RL Media in which the network will commit to offering $100 million in ad time over 5 years for 50% of the startup company. Ralph Lauren will also enjoy 50% ownership of Polo.com, where his son David will be creative director. Meanwhile, some feel NBC is compromising content for commerce in a time when the lines are very blurry between the two on television.
