Airline voids Cara contract

Air Canada has scrapped a food services contract worth tens of millions of dollars with Cara Operations Ltd. putting a bid to privatize the food services firm in jeopardy and sending its shares into a downward spiral. Mississauga-based Cara Operations reveals that Air Canada has repudiated its contract with them as the airline works to emerge from bankruptcy protection.
