Are computer models reliable tools for predicting climate trends?
Article Abstract:
Controversy exists on whether computer modeling provides reliable predictions of climate, and this affects assessments of global warming. Critics cite the validity of models for investigating hypotheses, but say that such models should not enter into public policy. Supporters of modeling note that imperfections exist in models, but they still represent the current state of knowledge about global climate. Progress in modeling comes from analyses of resulting calculations as much as field research, proponents note.

Immigration trends
Article Abstract:
The 20th century has seen a large number of Mexicans migrating to the US. Before and after the Great Depression, during World War II, the 1950s and even up to the 1960s, Mexicans arrived by the tens of thousands. This then prompted US immigration authorities to create and enforce strict laws and regulations which sought to deplete the ranks of those who have entered the country illegally. Today, the demographic movement of Mexican Americans in the US has shifted from rural to urban areas.
