CD-ROM explorations expand clues for Blue
Article Abstract:
Nickelodeon's Blue's Clues children's show is to come in two new CD-ROM games slated to be rolled out into computer stores and other retail sites across the US. The show, a hit since its premiere in 1996, pioneered an interactive format in which preschool viewers help solve a puzzle. Blue's Clues host Steven Burns said the new games take the interaction where people wish it could go on television. Blue's Clues CR-ROMs are a natural extension of the show and follow the same format of solving puzzles by finding clues left by the dog, Blue.

More companies fly with discount airlines
Article Abstract:
Smaller carriers are benefitting from the current moves by companies to book their employees on discount airlines because of rising airfares. Around 72% of the companies surveyed by the National Business Travel Assn used discount carriers in 1998, sharply up from 30% in 1996. The shift has been attributed to the widening gap between business and leisure fares. In response, discount airlines such as Pro Air, Vanguard Airlines and Frontier Airline have launched incentive programs to sign up more corporations.
