A former Keating government minister is about to publish details of secret discussions in the Australian cabinet. Although the Howard government has threatened possible jail sentence, the publishing of these secrets would be the first in Australia. The cabinet is not mentioned in the Constitution and remains a mysterious institution in Australia.

The result depends on what NAB timetable is for taking over and whether the ACCC grants them a permission .
