Campeau left Canada in disgrace in 1990, after his real estate Campeau Corp almost went bankrupt due to heavy debt. Now Campeau lives in Germany and is developing a $650-million subdivision called Muhlendorf in the town of Teltow. A brief history of Campeau's business ventures is given.
