Challenges to intervention implementation
Article Abstract:
The intervention implementation issues encountered within the Bathing Persons with Alzheimer's Disease at Home (BATH) study were analyzed. It was found that this home based intervention research provides a unique perspective from which to view in vivo caregiving and experimental research design as they intersect to affect the delivery, receipt, and enactment of interventions in the natural and frequently stressful, environment of personal caring at home.

Complementary therapy and older rural women: Who uses it and who does not?
Article Abstract:
An attempt is made to address the question of what factors predict the use of complementary therapy among rural older women. It is suggested that the results of the study can be used in giving comprehensive care for rural women by improving the existing understanding of who is or is not likely to use complementary or alternative medicine.
