Article Abstract:
Research conducted by Harvard University to study factors that affect people's generosity was guided through the experiment by Kismet, a robot with no human features except eyes. Kismet was disguised as a kind of 'Clippy', the Microsoft assistant, which appears on the computer screen and it was found that the variable that affected humans the most include images shaped like human eyes as they helped facilitate human connection.

The unsuccessful attempt at detection of gravity waves is discussed. A detector built out of heavy block of supercooled metal was used for the experiment.
