David Chalmers

Article Abstract:

Philosopher David Chalmer investigated consciousness as a natural phenomenon whose experience is a fundamental feature of the world, like space-time, mass, and charge and not reducible to anything simpler. He believes science would advance to the point where all would be able to map a state of the brain onto a state of consciousness and know exactly what someone in a coma is thinking or feeling in any instant.
